Issue Downloading PT8 for Mac
I'm trying to download my PT8 upgrade for my Mac using my PC. I'm on a dial up here and I let it run overnight.
The "Download Manager" wouldn't launch so I just clicked the download without manager button. What I got was a 56meg file "Pro_Tools_Le_V8_56245.dmg". I dumped it onto my Mac and tried to launch it but it said "The following disk image failed to mount", "not recognized". I'm assuming this means I'll have to go to the coffee shop and spend some time downloading the upgrade via my Mac to get it to recognize the disk image.
