Win98-Laptop and 001 connected with new Magma CardSlot to PCI adapter? Audio Logic?
This would be my favourite configuration. Does anybody use it, or part of it? Especially, I wonder if the Magma expansion implies any restrictions compared to the PCI card of a regular desktop, e.g. with respect to data capacity. Does the 001 require the full length card (CB1F), or does the half length PCI slot of the CB1H suffice? Or is there an alternative method to combine the 001 with a portable PC?
I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I didn't find those informations which are crucial for my future purchasing decisions... (I already have a high end PC notebook and Audio Logic). Thanks alot; Raskolnikow |
