all I get at that page is the very latest release (currently v2021.7) with the additional note:
Legacy Download Links:
Download links for legacy versions of products can be found in the Download Center (http://esd.avid.com/)
then I finally arrive at the page:
https://my.avid.com/esd/Product/Information/109
which lists all the older versions of Pro Tools that I've owned as far back as 10.3.10 (even though I've owned every version since v4)
every installer of course, except 2021.6
... oh great, so if I didn't happen to save the last installer (I did in fact) and the new version screws something critical in my system, I cannot roll back.
Well done Avid. Once again.
Mine shows all the Pro Tools releases from 10.3.10 to 2021.7 including 2021.6 and 2021.3. I also have all those on one of my HDs. Just sayin...

2021.7 will require an UNINSTALL of 2021.6. All the documentation is here:

I got my account setup in a matter of minutes, so it doesn't necessarily take a month. I do agree that there should be no need to require an account to download older versions of software that requires iLok to run. But Avid is paranoid about piracy-always have been.

Uninstalled, trashed my prefs and did a clean install to see if I could iron out some lingering UI sluggishness and the occasional beachball. Now PT crashes out with no reporter dialog after scanning plug-ins. Hmm.

EDIT: Looks like I'll be refreshing all of my plug-in installs. I could revert to a system backup but I want to see this through and find out whether it helps.

No, absolutely unnecessary for Mac. Compulsory for Windows.
On MacOS, just rename the old Pro Tools in the Application Folder and install the new one.

If you're troubleshooting, then an uninstall may help, but in my personal experience, there's no point - I tend to install MacOS from the main ~12GB installer (doesn't wipe any date files) and then reinstall PT.

YMMV

Some problems with UI rendering, like the Color Palette window missing elements as shown in the attached screenshot.

No color palette that I see. 🤷🏽*♂️ But click lower left button and it expands.
