As I mentioned in another thread, CD import still broken, screen still freezes every 10 seconds like clockwork. None of this was an issue on any of the 2020 incarnations, and the system hasn’t been changed.

Loaded up Protools 20021.7 tonight. Things that worked before seem to still work for me.

Be very careful of this "Bug Fix" release.
If you own Raven touchscreens or anything that involves UPDD devices.
The 2021.7.1 HD driver trashes any chance of communication.
I am now looking desperately for a way to download the previous 2016.3 PT and HD drivers...
Anyone???

We should get a support case going (if you haven't already started one). Previous installers can be found in the Avid Download Center in my.avid.com (we're updating that as part of the 2021.7 release so use this link).

You can get previous versions of Protools at the Avid Download Center (You need to create an account). Avid started using the year in naming its version in 2018 so I don't see 2016.3. Perhaps this is a typo? Here is a cut and paste of the list I'm seeing.

Wondering if a full uninstall of 2021.6 is required like 2021.3 was going to 2021.6
I had all kinds of UI lag, but a clean uninstall resolved that for me. Hoping I don't have to go through that this time.

Update: Just installed as normal, and no issues... so far so good.

and if you're not signed up for this "Avid Download Center" already, good luck. It took them literally a month to get this enabled for me.
Why Avid feels the need to hide installers for software that is iLok-protected is utterly beyond my comprehension. Everything should be easily downloadable for anyone, logged-in or not.
The main download area in everyone's account should at least include the last several released versions, especially since we seem to be seeing increased numbers of releases that were poorly tested, with critical bugs that force users to immediately backtrack their update.
Once you have access, I urge everyone to download and archive all possible versions of the software you've paid for and might need at some point in the future.

Not sure what you mean - I log in to my Avid account and can download versions as old as PT 8 if I wanted to from the My Products area.

My preference would be for the My Products area to be better organized than just alphabetically. Group all PT versions from 11 and older into a separate folder. The Annual Upgrade and Support is buried halfway down.

all I get at that page is the very latest release (currently v2021.7) with the additional note:

then I finally arrive at the page:

which lists all the older versions of Pro Tools that I've owned as far back as 10.3.10 (even though I've owned every version since v4)
every installer of course, except 2021.6
... oh great, so if I didn't happen to save the last installer (I did in fact) and the new version screws something critical in my system, I cannot roll back.
