Default Only 1 Processor on my MacPro?

Hi All,

Does anyone know why i can only select "1 Processor" at Host Processors in the Playback Engine Setup? I vaguely recall I could set it to use more than one.

Current System: MacPro 2x 2.8 QuadCore + 10.6.3 + PT M-Powered 8.0.3cs2

Any thoughts anyone?
Cheers!

Patrick

That's odd. If you go to Activity Monitor - does it show all processors available and working there?

All 8 are showing in the activity monitor.
So that looks fine.

Let's start with the basics - trash preferences, restart and test again.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new administrator account, log in to it, and test again.

Did that. No change unfortunately.

I would try a clean uninstall/reinstall of Pro Tools. Sounds like an install corruption.
