Default 002 and Behringer Ultragain Pro 8 Digital ADA 8000

The 002 has 8 ins- as does the ADA 8000--
is it possible for me to record 16 tracks at once with LE?

yup.
you utilize the 8 channels from the behringer through your ADAT i/o on your 002.

I have the 002r and the ada800, they work great together.

Joetracker...........how are the converters on the ADA8000 A&B'ed against the 002????

secord: Can you tell a different in the mic pre's ??

When my ProTools rig worked, it's whole reason for being was to record 16 tracks at once with the 002-R and the Behringer ADA-8000. Worked like a charm and sounded great on the live stuff my band was recording. 16-tracks for 4 hours a night without a hiccup.

Sadly, that was then and this is now. Hopefully I can get it working again soon. Either way, the Behringer was and is a trooper. It was a great purchase--total value for the money. Heck yes there are better mic pres in the world, but for that price you cannot beat it.
