Default Can\'t install Mbox driver

After updating my main computer to PTLE 7.4 with an 002, I'm trying to install my old copy of PTLE 6.7 on my office computer with the Mbox, but I can't seem to get my computer to recognize the Mbox. It's a 3 GHz PIV running XP SP2, 512 MB RAM, Intel chipset 82915G.

When I run the install (following the Mbox manual to the letter), everything seems to work fine, except I still have the found new hardware wizard running, and PTLE can't recognize the hardware when I try to open it. When I try installing the driver using the new hardware wizard (both manually and automatically), the install fails with no explanation.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be the culprit here? Thanks in advance.

Stu
