Default Looking for a D/A converter

Hi,
I'm Looking for a decent D/A to throw on the end of generation 1 MBOX I use for freelance audio post jobs.
The MBOX sounds a bit harsh to my ear especially if used over long periods.

Any sugestions? The Apogee Mini DA looks good, except for the price?

Cheers

Mark

Default Re: Looking for a D/A converter

my order of preference would be:

the Lavry Black DAC 10

LAVRY ENGINEERING

then the Mytek

MYTEK DAC 96

then Benchmark

Benchmark DAC
