Installing Pro Tools 9 On Multiple Computers
Hey Folks.
I own one Pro Tools 9 software. But, I have three places that I work: a recording room, a writing room, and an editing room. Can I install my "one" Pro Tools software in to all three locations, and use Pro Tools in each room if I move the iLok from room to room? Thanks for the reply! |

Re: Installing Pro Tools 9 On Multiple Computers
OK, I have the same question but in a different way. I have the student version of PT9 installed on my Mac and just got the email for PT 10 which I downloaded and am running now. How do I install PT10 on a new MacBook Pro (if I get one)? Do I install the disc version of 9 that I have on the new laptop and then use the same activation code for 10 to upgrade like I did on the desktop? I understand I have to put the iLok in the computer that I want to use it from but I want to get the software on two machines.
Any ideas or am I over thinking this?
