Computer Freezes PT8 & Screen Saver
Hello,
Has anyone else experienced their Vista computer freezing when the computer is idle while protools is open and the screen saver comes on? I currently have the screen saver (Google Photos Screensaver) set at 20 min. Thanks for your help!

Pro Tools cannot run with a screensaver turned on. Turn it off. Please follow all of the setup instructions here. And here.

yeah man, you should have the screen saver OFF as well as Sleep mode. There really is no reason for a screen saver these days, just turn your moniter off when you will be leaving your PC idel. Then you have no worry of burn in and its not using any power, 2 birds 1 stone.
