Default Multiple Flatpanel Displays

Has anyone had any luck running more than one flatpanel on a newer G4? I'm running an SGI 1600 Flatpanel along with an Apple Cinema display using one AGP card and a promac card for the SGI on the PCI bus.. of course, this is giving me PCI bursts and errors... Does anyone know of a video card for the Mac that can run two seperate spanning flat panels?

Thanks.

I guess my problem is that the SGI and the Apple Cinema displays both have some type of DVI or digital connector, while I would imagine the ones that you guys are using have regular analog connectors?

The connection between the video card (most likely the Formac card) and the SGI monitor is a proprietary interface. I believe this interface is only used on the SGI monitor, hence the limited number of cards that directly support the SGI display...

I believe the Apple Cinema display uses the DVI standard...

I don't think the PCI bus cares much as to the interface between the video card and the monitor, but the errors are more likely I/O errors on how two video cards are accessing the PCI bus, or maybe EMI interference between the cards.... I ran a Twin Turbo and Rage card PCI cards at the same time on 9600, and didn't have any errors with 2 cards running..

Now, I would like to reduce to one PCI card for dual monitors. I don't think anyone makes a PCI video card with dual monitor support (for Mac 9600's)... If anyone knows of one, please send me mail... thanks.....

I am running a 9600/G3-400 with two SGI 1600sw panels on two ProFormance 3 cards. Also a DC-30 capture card, a 3940U2W scsi card, and a 13 slot expansion chassis with Mix core, 3 Mix farms and 3 Merle farms. It's truly a rockin' big setup. I LOVE IT!!
