OWC ThunderBay Flex 8 and Omni HD PCIe card?

Greetings, has anyone tried running a PTHD Omni PCIe card in the new OWC ThunderBay Flex 8? Avid does not list this as compatible, hopefully because the unit has not been officially tested yet. I'm preparing to install this with an Apple Silicon Mac this summer, probably Mac Studio Max.
