Protools 2022.5 not importing OMFs

Hi,

So I updated my OS to macOS Monterey and also updated my Protools to 2022.05.

Now when I try to import an OMF into ProTools it imports the channel but no audio files come with it. But when I open that same file in Adobe Audition it opens up fine.

I also tested this with an old OMF I know works in ProTools and that did not work.

Tech support told me to do the following:
- Reset Pro Tools preferences to a default state
- Deleting Protools Workspace database files

with no luck.

I also went and downloaded an old version of protools so I can get some work done... and that now is quitting on me..


Any help will be greatly appreciated..

I'd heard that PT no longer has import audio turned on by default so perhaps that is unchecked.

This is not true but does seem to be the case for a select few.

MAN... That's annoying lol.. AVID changes the smallest setting by having it unchecked and it messes with my workflow.

How did I not see that not checked...

Because you haven't needed to look at it in the past. I agree, it's an annoying to have these major parameters changed.

I don't mind certain changes, like having AUXs default to solo-safe (which I like), but this one bugs me.
