Their offline activation doesn't work. It tells you to purchase a license code.

The Avid website says no license or activation code required. Clearly some people are not communicating here.

hi jon, i sent email to Nugen yesterday ... received Automated reply ... standing by ..

my issue is not downloading or installing .. i installed from Avid Products and Subscriptions / received email from Nugen with Code / entered code after opening plugin in PT and it continually shows ERROR in Red ..

so standing by for Nugen reply .. possibly i got a bad code or something ..

A|B Assist is available in AAX 32 and 64 bit Native (Win and OSX) Versions only. There are no VST or AU versions at the moment. I'll see if I can get the Avid page updated to reflect this accurately.

Hi,

I think mine did that until i instantiated the send plugin on the source track i then had to deactivate the AB assist and reactivate it for the send to see the AB assist then all was sweet.

UPDATE: Nugen got me sorted out .. be patient as the email that came with my New License took a few minutes to comes through ... all good now ..

they had me click on the Get Free License tab - even tough i had already registered with Nugen ... that way did not work for me ..

Hi,

Did something really stupid and PT froze

Tried to move AB assist from my master channel to the mix bus whilst it was in use (Transport running) oops it doesn't like that, guess it messes with the internal routing and confuses the poor thing

Also just found out you can't deactivate it and move it to another slot! have to completely remove it and open up a new one otherwise it will freeze PT
