Default My problem with Pro Tools HD 7.2 delay compensation

Hello,

I am sending a track directly to the my Pro Tools Main Out and I have a copy of that track that goes to Manley Vari Mu, then it returns to Pro Tools via Mixdream and it is monitored using Aux channel.

Here is my problem:
Aux channel in Pro Tools HD 7.2 that is fed with the output of SPL Mixdream gets 105 samples of delay (I measured it using my ears...). The picture no2 fixes the issue, but I don't like the idea of shifting every track or bus/aux by that amount. The picture no1 simply does not work. Any value below zero does not change anything. I would like to shift my Mixdream Aux channel by -105 samples.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding you but aren't you talking about time travel? how can audio go back in time? Hope this helps.

Use inserts. problem solved. ADC is not meant to work the way you're trying to make it work.

It can travel back in time! Just read the PT manual

Drew, That's the problem - it's Mixdream return. It is fed with 16 channels in total, so I cannot use it as an insert.

Actually, you can use it as an insert. Feed your 16 channels to an Aux track and use it as an insert on the Aux. Then all should work.
