Default Cant authorize Pro Tools LE 8 upgrade

I purchased the boxed version 8 upgrade to install on my mac os 10.5.6. I set up my account and entered the activation number. The next screen DID NOT return and autorization number, instead it provided me with a list of Celemony Melodyne Session downloads along withan Auth and Conf # for the Celemony programs. After installing the upgrade and starting Protools for the first time it prompts you for the Auth #. Where can I get this? When I log into mydigi account, the only software it lists is the Celemony. If I try to re-register the protools upgrade, now it says that it already has been registered... what gives? I register the product, it dosnt give me a specific Auth # for Protools, but instead it gives me Auth for Celemony... Sorry for venting, but Im kind of loosing my patience. Am I missing something?? One this I should mention is that my 003 rig came with LE 7.4, but based on the version of my operating system, didg tech support recommends using PT 8. I was told by the reseller, that I dont need to install PT7.4 forst, that I can just install PT8. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated..

Got it working, but by fluke. I decided to register the copy of PT7.4 that came with the Digi003 to see if that helped. Well kind of. Afew minutes after registering PT7.4, I received an Email offer for a free upgrade to PT8 with an Activation code to the "Download version". So I activated the "download version" without downloading, and received an Authorization code. Tried it on my installed boxed upgrade and it worked. But now I realized I paid $160 for something I didnt need . On the brighter side, it probably would have taken 3 days to download the upgrade with my slow connection..

I still dont know why my original PT8 upgrade didnt return an Autorization code. Basslik, if you have problems, you may have to contact Avid.
