PT9 and PT8 on same machine?
Hey,
We have a small portable system that consists of a MBpro and a 003Rack currently running LE8 with the DVtoolkit2 (lock to timecode record for video post). If we upgrade to PT9 and the CPTC, can we maintain our LE8 licence and run either on the laptop? Would I even need to if everything works smoothly in V9? Thanks, Dave. |

There is also no reason to run PT8 and PT9 separately, especially if you have the CPTK.

Re: PT9 and PT8 on same machine?
OK, thanks Dan.
In our HD3 portable system I have several physical OS drives with different OS/PT versions that I switch between fairly frequently. I was wondering if I could do the same thing on the laptop without changing drives or dual booting... guess not! |

Re: PT9 and PT8 on same machine?
Just partition the drive.
