Default FRUSTRATED WITH DIGI PRODUCTS....

i'd like to let you guys know that after sending back my defectve protools mixplus cards, i found out this morning that the new USD that i bought is defective too. the usd after initially turning itt on does not have any more power. why again ? i've already incurred expenses sending the cards thru fedex and here am i again with another cost at hand. don't you think you guys from digidesign should carry the expenses fro this. hey man i'm a long way back in the philippines..

what can be done?

I too had problems over seas with electronic equipments. Especially the Philipines, the power there can be horendous! Make sure that you consult a certified electrician or studio expert to analyze your power in your studio. Chances are you will need to purchase line conditioning and possibly a generator to generate clean power for your electronic equipment! Especially in the Phillipines where the countries Electrical generating and distribution facilities can be quite poor. Otherwise you will see lots of equipment go bad, during the one of one million daily, brown outs, black outs and power surges.
