OT:Trouble burning to high-speed capable cd-r?
Hey-
I think I learned a little something about burning audio to cd-rs from iTunes. I have made many successful burns of rough mixes and such, but have been having trouble lately. I get an error message that the disc can't be read by the computer. I've been through the usual fixes, even reinstalling OS 10.2 again (out of date, I know...). I have always used average name-brand cd-r's that can be bought so cheaply these days. My mac is a couple of years old (G4 iMac), and I wonder if it has trouble burning audio to the high-speed capable cd-rs. I can't burn on them at any speed, and read today on some site that the newer high-speed cd-rs are different than older, slower rated ones. I did have a successful burn onto an older blank disc I found amongst my computer junk. I'm going to look for slower-rated discs meant for audio burning. Anyone else experience this issue? PC
