Xpand 2 doesn't load patches

the XPAND2.big file is located in Applications > DigiDesign > Pro Tools Creative Collection > Xpand2 and the patches are located in Library > Application Support > DigiDesign > Plug in settings > Xpand2. Is this correct? I have trashed preferences also .

Yeah thatz correct... ur folder doesn't say Xpand2(2) or anything like that does it?...

Same thing happen to me, but I figured it out. Hope this work for you guys.
Easy Steps:

1. Open your download Avid zip file. It should be like this(Avid_Virtual_Instruments_Installer) (Don't Extract!)
2. Open the Virtual Instruments folder
3. Now Open the Program files
4. Open the Avid folder
5. At this point you should probably find another avid instrument folder, open it, you'll see [boom, Mini Grand, Structure Free, Expand2]
6. Double click to open the Expand2 folder.

All the above should be executed in the zip folder, without extracting !

7. Extract the XPand2.big file on your desktop,
8. Next time you open Expand2 and the Error message pop up, click browse and Chose Desktop.
10. Your Expand2 should be working now!
