It's interesting ...I just created a new session and imported the session data and all seems to be fine, but I'm wondering if that folder is corrupt, this error message was from the same session folder.

Just looking for some confirmation here, if I created a new session and imported all the session data, which is all MIDI data, from what I figure a corrupt folder, and delete this folder, do I still retain all my session data in the new session folder?

I've done this once before with Audio files and lost all of that session. They are seperate right?

I know this is an old post - but I thought I might share what I found - just for the record.

I was stuck on a DAE error-7401. I closed the session and reopened it. Tried to play it back - same thing.

Closed it down again. Checked out the DUC. Found this thread. Went back to investigate whether I needed to create a new session using the old data.

Before going thru that process I thought I'd try to bounce a random part of the track and see what happened. The bounce worked. Tried playing it back again - no more DAEerror-7401.

It's all sweet again.

...Just for the record. (good luck)
