Not cause the oil but if China starts to invest in Euros instead of Dollars then the USA is bankrupt and who knows what happens then...

Anyway I think we won´t see a new keyboard driver this year and not that soon next year. There are some more important bugs to be done before (can you see the 1 wrong colored pixel down right in Impact?)

But I think there is a complete different story going on: The USA (well Brezel George) is trying to get the leadership of the world. And then you just need one keyboard layout worldwide.

But why has Digi knowledge of that plan?

Hi there,
I know this workaround/solution shouldn't even be necessary, if Digi would have done the job right, but if you guys are that much bothered by the issue, why not get APE Manager/Menu Master from www.unsanity.com and just change the key commands in the menues (at least on the main dropdown menues). You even can add shortcuts to menues that don't have one at all. It runs very stable on my system (G5/1.8 Single, 10.3.7, PT 6.7cs5) and solves my problems with the mismatch between my x-keys extended shortcuts-keyboard and PT 6.7 cs5 with the screwed keyboarddriver.

By the way, x-keys (www.xkeys.com) might be something you guys wanna look into as well. Basically it is the same as production pallette from Gallery used to be under OS 9/ADB. Combined with MenueMaster and QuickKeys it's very, very powerfull.
