Default Stylus Spectrasonics anyone?

I just purchased Stylus Spectrasonics Xpanded 1.5.1

I instaled the 2 DVDs. I installed the 1.5.1 Udaters OSX, then I installed the 1.6.0 installer. I did this several times.

The stylus RMX wrapper is in Machintosh HD/Library/Aplication Suport/Digidesign/Plugins/StylusWrapper.dpm

Still (I should mention my Pro Tools is working very well) the Stylus doesn*t appear in Pro Tools. I searched all over, even though I know it should appear in the same folder with the others instruments, such as Xpand.

Help anyone?

Hi joerusi.
I am using stylus RMX in my macbook pro 2.4 without problems. Did you use the proper update installer? One is for mac intel based and the other is for mac ppc.

I had a similar deal with Stylus. I think I ended up closing out Tools and then trashing prefs and restarting and it showed up. I have wondered if Tools keeps "seeing" the original plugs due to the prefs and if you toss the prefs it starts over and sees the newly added plug in's and Rewire stuff. I could be wrong.

Take a look in your plug in's folder and make sure it is in there. I am not at my studio computer but if you look in the Pro Tools folder there should be a folder for plug in's or plug in alias. All your plug in's should be in there and so should Stylus RMX.
