Default Compressor Plugin Missing

I recently upgraded from PT7.2 to 7.3.1. Now when I open session from 7.2 that used older compressor or EQ plugs (used for compatiblity with another studio) they are missing. Previously, I was able to choose between Compressor and Compressor III.

Are these archived somewhere? Are they compatible with 7.3.x?

Much discussed here. Search the DUC.

EGS...I tried several searches...which return 100's of items from general missing plugins. But can't keyword it down enough. Do you know the name of the orignal compressor? What is digi-rack compressor?

Just check your Digidesign Folder "Plug-ins (Unused)".

Soundtrack...I tried this. I was suprised the folder was no longer there. There were other plug-ins that I kept in that folder. The install of 7.3.x must have deleted it...because the entire folder is gone.

Additionally, Soundtrack you were correct.

Only the shortcut/alias for the unused plugin in the applications folder is removed by the installer. The actual folder still exists in its orginally location.

Mac OS X: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Plug-Ins (unused)

Thanks to all!
