Default should i update?

i am currently running pt 8.0.1cs hd on mac osx 10.5.6. i'm not sure if i should update my osx or pro tools. i know in the past there were some problems with the updates, but that was a while ago. everything is running fine now so i am hesitant to update. any info is greatly appreciated. i definitely want to keep current, but also don't want to run into any new problems. thanks...

don't update. If it is working fine, don't touch it.

I see although U have been a DUC member for quite a while, u don't have a lot of post; not being smart, but I only say that because if u look around u'd see that there are quite a many problems on all platforms of the latest version; if u update the OS, that pretty much leaves no choice but to update PT which really isn't a good idea; it may be som1 who will come & say "I don't have any problems with the latest vs" but seriously if u just check around the DUC, u will see the smart thing to do is stay stable & if ur there now, I would not mess with that!

I guess the short answer would be, Don't do it...
