ANY Issues With 10.5.8 and PT 8.0.3 - What's Next After You UPDATE ??

Will I Have To Delete The Old PT 8.0? Will Sessions Recorded In PT 8.0 Open When I Click Them With The New PT 8.0.3 Installed? I'm lookin to find some clear info on the complete steps to updating to 8.0.3 with this set up. and is worth it at this time? i-mac intel core 2 duo 10.5.8 Pro Tools LE 8 003 Rack Plus (8 pre) Plus Pro Fire 2626 Plugins Waves IK Multi melodyne ect... Will I lose my plugins? Do I have to reinstall them with the new soft wear? thanks to all that post... have a great weekend :) |

Just install the update.
Your old sessions will work fine, and so will your 3rd party plugins. However, make sure you have the latest versions of those plugins installed. Check the manufacturers website for the latest release. Some of them have updated recently to be compatible with Snow Leopard. In the case of Waves, you'll need to be current in your WUP to get the latest version. |
