23.97?!?!?
i got a da-8 tape of a trailer that was done out of house. as far as i am aware, this trailer was done only for theatrical release. it is marked
video rate: 29.97ND film rate: 23.97 if i load the audio in at 48k, it would sync to video, right? so if i need it to sync to film i will need to convert the imported files? the staff at the original studio just told me "it syncs to both" when i asked them this question. ? many thanks! -a-

Re: 23.97?!?!?
The sample freq of the tape is the important number. I’d think it was 48K so you should be OK. But the DA98 will tell you what it’s sample freq is as soon as you hit play.
