Both! Obviously the 12inch is cheaper than the 15inch, but both are good and and have a -3db response off 19hz which is amazing.

I suppose its up to how much power you need and how big your room is. If its small to medium the 12inch would be plenty. If you have a medium to large room and really want to crank the level the go for the 15inch. But basically they are just as good as each other in terms of specs and quality.

I have a pair of Mackie HR624's and my next move will be to add the 12inch sub, my room is only about 4.5x3.5 meters so its not a very big room. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

got my event sr-12 15inch for $399. it is bangin great for the money my mom is mad at me for playing late at night.... it's slumpin..... very loud........makes me happy...great buy......

Great sub has done me well since I bought it 3 years ago.

I just installed a Mackie system 4 months ago
2 HR-824s and 1 HRS-120
Sounds amazing and the client couldn't be happier.

A friend of mine needed a sub for his system last week and was on a budget. I recommended the
Event S250 subwoofer
I gotta tell you. For the money this is the best deal on the market. The JBL is precise and gets the job done, the Mackie is big, powerful, and definitely the best sounding economy sub, but the Event blew the competition away because of the price point.
