Hey Timmy,
yes, breakfast will do.
A bit shocked and feeling helpless here, following Katrina's menacing act. What a royal bitch she is
Please ask K_B if he is banned from here, or just feels that we are not worthy. He is a film director after all, a truly strange breed...
be good,

Lemix: Thank you Thank you... that sort of reminds me of the "Life is Short, Drink Guinness" coin phrase that I was thinking of... 6.9 running smooth this morning for ya? did ya tame the beast?

Tim: cool man, glad to hear things are going cool. btw.. how many hours per day do you practice bass to keep your chops up man?

As for breakfast... well I already had some sunny side up eggs this morning, and 7 spoonfuls of fresh ground peanut butter and am on my first cup of coffee for the day, but I am always up for seconds...

otherwise... got some of the studio out of boxes this morning... it is an overwhelming process and I keep wishing I could snap my fingers and it would be done for me already... check in with y'all later. peace

Where are you now ?
Unpacking at the new place ? Day job at the old location ? Tell us...
I did some more cleaning and trouble shooting on the PC itself. Still a tad sluggish, but getting there. Most importantly though, PT LE 6.9 is now running crash free. Did my editing job and did a quick DaveC test. 32+16 with some more juice to spare, but I'll never ever need more at home.

take care all,

kinda depends on w-o-r-k

I'm not religious in my playing. l know the set we're playing well now & l find it better to not overplay it. I might play the songs l'm learning for 30-60 minutes a day. I'm not a "classically" trained musician so l dont play scales and stuff. But l still just love playing so I try pick up one of my basses at least daily but try is the wrong word. I just pick one of them (often the acoustic) & play. sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Sometimes l wish l'd plugged it in & recorded it! =D

On the bus home now. Just bought cables, connectors & a soldering iron. Time to learn a new (!) skill.

Hey Lemix! I'm gonna catch u up some day! =D

Lemix: at the day gig today unfortunately... much rather be unpacking the new studio room at the new place actually... but I am off the rest of the week through the holiday so all is good. Don't have the net at the new place til Friday anyhow when the cable place comes by and hooks everything up...

Glad to hear the system is working better for ya man! soon she'll be flying like old times there eh?

Tim: yeah, I hear ya.. I don't get near as much time as I used to due to that type of stuff also now days... In fact, I am selling off my last electric guitar that is in my possession til I can figure out a way to afford the Les Paul and maybe a vintage strat from Baz that I really would like and get a better spot to crank up amps than my current location.. so the next couple of years will bring acoustic records for the most part.. hehe

Sounds cool about the new toys there man. Watch out for that hot solder though caus that will leave a mark real quick..

chat you kats later.. I gots this thang..
