Hmmm.. you might be correct on this dude..
It was about, no harmonies, just unison "gang" stuff on the choruses. I'm so bloody distracted now with the new PT LE 7 upgrade policies...

cheers,
yup, i'm following and i'd upgrade if i could.

i'm on a digi 001 running v6.4 cs9 which is the last release that will work with my h/w

need to upgrade my pc and 001 at the same time but i don't have the cash to. of course, with v7 supporting dual core it'll be a noticeable upgrade, and in a way i'm pleased i didn't yet invest in an allenstein but gotta get the readies first...

hows about you? I get the feeling ur like a kid 3 days before christmas from the tone of ur posts! will ur studio run to the new version as well as ur 002 at home?

Hello there Tim.
IMO...if it fills your needs, stay wit the 001/6.4. As far as " kid 3 days before christmas " goes...absulutely NOT, my friend.
First, I'm poor at the moment, and then in the studio we need something VERY stable, error free and quick (if there is such thing... ) We are still on 6.4/HD Accel2 on OSX Panther ! Mixing out of the box, so plugins aren't a major factor.
There is that policy of upgrade pricing though, that pisses me off on my home setup !! (check the Windows/Le Forum > "Press release")
Did you get the file downloaded ? Check your email !
So..smokes and petrol ?>>
later,

i read ur posts in the le forum after writing that, so yeah, i now understand.

my 6.4/001 is stable and while i think i might be suffering from the grass being greener on the other side of the fence but i was mixing a song this afternoon with 27 tracks, not a huge number of plug ins and my machine is labouring. it's a 3 year old P3 system that i cant upgrade effectively in part, simply a matter of replacing. its slowing me down and not quite being a pro, i really dont need to be slowed any further!

if i upgrade the pc it makes sense to do the 001 soon after. next generation machine i buy might not even have pci slots so...

i got the mail and have downloaded the file thanks. don't think i'll have a chance to import it tonight as i'm just off out to eat. I'll ask one of those social smokers sat next to me how much the fags cost...

tim

... You mean, they are allowed to smoke while you are having dinner ???
No places around here tolerate cigarettes, even in pubs !

cheers,
nope, not really paying a bit of attention honestly... reason being is caus my 6.1.1 is rock solid and I don't have a need to upgrade to an 002 or HD for atleast another couple years yet til I get outta the f#$$@*g ghetto atleast... don't need the hoodbro wannabe's down here making off with an HD rig... don't honestly have the space to setup properly anyhow... Intend to upgrade everything in a couple years though. We'll probably be on PTLE 8.0 by that time or on PTLE super or something like that.. hehe
