Default wierd import question

I'm need to import a track from one session to another and keep the "match start time takes". Basically I loop recorded some dialogue and I need to be able to command-click each region to bring up a list of take but when I import via aaf or just directly from the session all i get is what was in the time line. any help is appreciated.
