Default Victrola

Any ideas on plugins or eq to create the effect o a victrola? Trying to make the intro to a song sound old and metallic with some of that old 78s sound.

There's a bundled plug-in that does "bit crushing". Sorry, I can't remember which one... it might be one of the AIR plug-ins.
Combining that with an extreme "frown EQ" should come close.

+1 for Vinyl. I just did that exact trick for a song that needed to sound like an old Patsy Cline record(then morph into clean&modern).
