PT9 Legacy IO (192) & 3rd Party IO
Will PT9 HD2 w/192 & 192D, work simultaneously with 3rd party IO's; such as MOTU 828?
Will PT9 HD2 w/192 & 192D linked to legacy IO's ADAT Bridge & 1622 be functional? Is there a IO interface crossgrade/upgrade program for 192's (and similar), ADAT bridge, 1622's, 888's, etc to the new IO's? |

The reply to each of those questions is 'no'.
You cannot aggregate HD with any other device. Legacy support was dropped unofficially with 8.0, though we went back and fixed a problem to allow support through Pro Tools 8.0.x. Pro Tools 9 does not have that capability any longer. Currently there are no hardware crossgrade or upgrade options except for PCIx to PCIe cards. |
