Session-Import -> Groups no VCA import - do I misunderstand sth?

I use a nanoKorg to control the first 8 tracks in each session, these are VCA tracks. For sessions from the past I want to import these system as well. I choose session import -> choose the 8 VCA tracks, and at the bottom I choose in the menu "edit/mix groups".
but it's not working. I still have to
1. group the tracks
2. combine them with my VCAs
3. select the VCA track with the group

That's totally annoying and I don't want to do this now 9 more times. And I can't use "copy session in" because each of this 9 comes from another editor. I want to import my way to work.

What I am missing?
