Default In 2014 Why do Bluetooth and Wireless need to be disabled?

Assuming one is using a newer generation Mac (let's say 2010 and on as a starting point) I would like to know why these two need to be disabled. I personally find both indispensable (I use apple trackpad for RSI relief and Apple TV for remote monitor). For every issue that I ever have had with PT I have disabled both of these and they have never been the problem...

So: what are the issues that puts these in the optimization guide for 2014?

Interrupts.
When a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi adapter scans constantly for new connections
it can generate interrupts for the processor.
Doesn't mean it will be a problem.
The newer adapter chips isolate the processor by filtering the interrupts and handling more of the connection process.

I use bluetooth no issues here - I have heard of people using time machine to back up w/o problems also

I also use spotlight but not on my record drives nor sample drives

If not needed I am definitely disabling both (as well as any uneeded networking options) but will turn them on as needed.

I have just setup a Mini as a VEP/video satellite server and we needed both services running with no ill effects.
