888 not recognized
Hi,
I just installed a mix core card and an original 16 bit 888. These work together, if I'm not mistaken. When I launch ProTools, it asks me to allocate more memory, which I can't seem to do. Get info on ProTools logo, and it tells me the memory allocated, but doesn't allow me to change it. So I set the buffers really low and was at least able to launch the app. But then it says to turn the Digidesign hardware on, and it's already on. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks. Best regards, Siegfried Meier |

Re: 888 not recognized
Which OS and version of Pro Tools?
In the Digisetup utility - have you selected it as an 888 and not 888/24? Is it on a Y-cable? When trying to set the memory (Get Info) have you quit Pro Tools? Rail
