Works great on the Fire 10. The tablet also runs for an amazing amount of time on a charge. I bought it on a Prime day to run Control but have been using it for Outlook email a lot.

RE: Android, Avid Control has supported it for quite a few years now. Honestly seems a waste of an iPad when you compare.

I had another Amazon tablet that I wiped and installed straight Android on. Not sure if it's worth doing that here. Unless it starts showing ads on the Meter view or something

You're Welcome! Last year when they were on sale, Eddie pointed out that they had tested on that model (well, the poor generation) a lot.

The only time I see the ads is when waking it up in the morning, and when I shut down the computer.

I use a 10th gen Fire HD 8 myself. As for installing bare Android on it, I haven't been able to find a way. I think Amazon has locked down the previous method that worked on older firmware.
