There's TimeAdjuster for sample timing problems, and all the EQ plugind have a phase-reverse button. Is this it?

No!

There is no plug-in for phase compensation

I've asked this question on the duc and all answers I had were like the one you just had!

No! time ajuster is only a sample(1/44,000 of a second) if you work at 44.1KHz. So the 11K frequency will get at 0 or 180 degrees. Nothing between.

No way this is not gonna cut it!

You have to slide AT LEAST 1/100 of a sample (so sub-sample resolution).

To my knowledge there is only CEDAR who does that.
Maybe their TDM plug-ins does that.

No (pro) professionnal tools for that here

It is a shame because with softwares like Protools(or any other) this could be the perfect environnement for theese kind of tweaks.

IMHO

Maybe LittleLabs will decide to get in the plug-in game and make their IBP into software.

That seems to be a great soution for analog mixing or sound pick-up.

Yes it is strongly missing in the gigital era of daws.

And this kind of stuff exists in electronic crossovers or in some subwoofers for time aling.

Should not be so hard to do in a digital plug-in

There are a lot of audio tools that are missing that could be made into plug-ins.

I don't think this can be achieved simply by software. At on point this is going to need some kind of oversampling which probably means dedicated hardware that has its own system clock

This is probably true but why not using DSP cards for this? Because Cedar IS doing it so is has to be done on DSP chips and TDM systems HAVE DSP chips. And oversampling can be done in software with the TDM's clock.

I don't think that this is an impossible task. But maybe this a limitation of the ProTool software?

I'm not a programmer.

Have a look to AudioCube Azimuth Correction, a very fine tool.

Sorry to seem dumb, but are we talking about correcting azimuth error from tape here? Because I'd be mighty interested in that. I've tried nudging tracks by a sample at a time, but I hadn't done the maths, and yes, I can see that wouldn't work.
