Default macbook question
ive been waiting for leopard to be qualified before buying a macbook. my question is on the pc forum under best laptop i read you could run xp on the macbook. could you run protools with xp on the macbook then once leopard was qualified juat switch over.

Yes, you could. The other option would be to buy from a dealer who stocks macbooks, my work ordered a macbook for me today and it's shipping with tiger and there is an option to get the leopard disk for £5.95.

just fyi, running XP on a mac is NO different than running XP on a dell or hp....except it might run better.

Im running PT 7.3.1cs5 on my MacBook On My Windows XP Partition and its working absolutely flawless and fast as hell.... Way faster than my PC of the same Procesing abilities.. and I dont know I its just me but my bounces seem to come out more Crisp than when I bounce to disk form the same session on my PC
