My initial thought is that it is just another way to weed out us 001 users.

But they may still be ironing out links to older docs. We will have to wait and see.

My initial thought is is this new site related to the fact that I can't log on to http://secure.digidesign.com/activation and put the asset from the DV Toolkit 2 I just purchesed into my ilok account. Digi?

It does seem to be laid out in more logical manner.

It's a nice design but obviously incomplete and buggy.

Search doesn't work.

I tried to find the 1.0.1 xpand! update and couldn't until I noticed the "Archived Downloads" link which went back to an old styled page. Why should this be only available in an archive section? It's brand new!

I find the diagonal menus cumbersome.

After going through the whole site... I do like it a lot. Compatibility and other questions are much easier to find, and all together. I really like the 360 views of the hardware. There are a LOT of links that don't work and some other features that are buggy. This was an unexpected surprise, but I think that if we waited until the end of May for the Intel release, I think we could have waited until the end of June or so for the site to work 100%. All in all, I am pleased with the site. I can see that a lot of work went into this.

The UK Digistore is currently unavailable, but you can purchase those plug-ins through the Avid Store using this link:
