Default MIDI i/o When?

BTW,
When is the MIDI i/o ever going to be supported on the Windows platform.
It seems a lot simpler that trying to integrate the V/10 or the new D-control thing?
Doesn't it?

I got mine months ago, and it's just sitting on top of the SYNC i/o

I agree!!! I just purchase a unit only to find out it won't work with Windows. I call Digidesign to ask if they was working on a driver for the PC. Their reply was no and that I should return the unit if I didn't have a Mac. I don't understand why they have software and hardware coded for both Mac and PC platforms but can't write a simple USB driver for the PC. I guess not enough PC users are complaining about the problem. So now I have to wait and hope they come out with a driver for the PC.

Im surprised there is no XP driver for this MIDI I/O unit.

Digi, don't you think there is not a market for a MIDI interface with 10 I/O all of which are on the rear of the unit (other units have 7 on the rear 1 on the front an this is terrible) that would attract ppl who don't even use Pro Tools?

This (attractive) product would appeal to many many ppl running the other available sequencers in the world.

Perhaps a WinXP driver should be considered!! Id like to see this interface with a 'Serial' port, this should ensure tighter timing than USB.

So what's happening ??
