Volume/bounce issues
Hey. I'm somewhat new to PT but know the basics somewhat. I have 2 issues that I cannot figure out.
1) After recording, I'm able to get the tracks to max sound [shown in wave form] on my screen. It sounds great, but when I bounce it to disc, the master volume is considerably lower than other artist recordings, by at least half. How do I get it "louder"? 2) When attempting to bounce I am only allowed to use SDII, otherwise the WAV comes out too low, with bass distorted, & improper mix. How do I get it to bounce as WAV [stereo]? Any help or suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks |

Re: Volume/bounce issues
here is one ( click here). I don't really have time to pull up more. try searching for dynamics, mastering, or loudness. what you need is compression, but from a compressor/limiter.
