Default New Condenser Mic Advice

Looking to replace an old AT4033 that I've had for 23 years. It's served me well, but I think it's time for an upgrade.

While I'd love a Neumann 87 that's not in the budget. I'm thinking of some of the Warm Audio products, or maybe an offering from Sure.

I'm thinking $500-$1000 range. Any thoughts?

A large capsule condenser? I really like my Rode NT2A. (NOT the much older Chinese-made NT2.) The NT2A sounds great on just about everything. BTW, I also own two U87's but, believe it or not, tend to reach for the Rode.

Rode NT1 (take a look @ 5th Generation), Samson Audio is not expensive. In fact, you have a very big choice! Take what you like and don't look at the price.
Example:

I personally am a fan of stereo microphones! But they exceed your budget.

I've heard a lot of good things about RODE. Very interesting.
I hear mixed bag about WA, but I assumed it was because people were trying to comp it to real C12's and U87's.

All good info, I'll check them out. Thanks!

I would seriously look into Roswell Microphones

They have the mini series both 47 and 87 that are both under $500 and there are also some up scale models as well. and all are arguably some of the most under appreciated microphone brands on the market in their price ranges and higher
Some total pros I know swear by them over Warm Products or any in the price range
If I did not already a great ADK Z Mod 251 I would not hesitate to get the Roswell top of the line tube Aztec 251

Miktek C-7e is extremely close to a good U87. I had to do some punch-ins for an artist that was in a rush(couldn't get back into the studio where he recorded the song). His original vocal was done on a U87 thru a Neve 1073. I put up my C7 into a Vintech 573 and did the fixes and a mix and everyone involved said they could not hear any difference. Nothing against any of the other suggestions, just my own experience
