Weird sudden cursor behaviour
Never had this before, just playing back some projects today and cursor stops randomly every 2-3 bars - project keeps playing and cursor catch up but this is visually weird.
As I noticed I was still on PT 2019-12, I immediately updated to latest (2020.05) but problem remains. This is brand new computer (2 months) - did not behave as is before today. Issue with computer? Issue in PT settings ? Mac mini 2018, 3.2 GHz 6-core i7, 32GB RAM, ... UA Apollo X4 interface

However, it seemed to go away simply after restarting system.... But reading everyone on that link, i would not claim the problem is solved .... yet.

Re: Weird sudden cursor behaviour
Yep. Happened to me today too. I'm on 2020.3.
The effect vanished after a while. Not sure why. But while it was happening the entire GUI was sluggish. Sometimes SWOD.

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=410493 Looks like it was on Avid’s servers - the «*provide Avid automatically*» with info on performance(or however it is called). Most people (like me) who has it «*on*» on our systems have likely been affected for a while until Avid solved it. Nothing else to do on our side as I understand it. Probably timing in my case as it resolved after a restart...
