ot - downloadable manuals
I used to be the owner of a Roland JV-35, and recently picked up a Motu MTPAV [motu timepiece for audio/video] and in both cases of course, buying used, didn't get a manual. Now, I dont care about that, I can just go download it right?
Wrong. Roland wanted $10 CAD for a printed one, wouldn't let me pick it up from the Roland building near my work, instead I had to pay $4 s/h. I didn't bother to get it. Motu wants $15 USD plus $10 s/h plus an extra $5 to get it over the border into canada... It's kinda retarded IMO that they do this. I think roland may have downloadable manuals now, but those prices are atrocious. It is just common courtesy to have information available on products; I often download manuals to help me in my purchasing by learning what each product I'm considering can do. |
