Why no Digi001 Win98 drivers on "Digi-Site" ?

I am the owner of a Digi001 MAC version, and a Win98 PC. But here in Denmark we have not received the Digi001 Win98 PTLE CD's yet.
All i need is the Win98 drivers, just to get started.
Nobody has yet explained WHY DigiDesign has no Digi001 Win98 drivers available for download from their site !!!!!!
I could be wrong. Maybe they are just hidden some 110 mouseclicks away.
If they are indeed not on the site, is that really what DigiDesign calls "Customer Service" ?
Maybe someone would be so kind as to send me the drivers via e-mail, or send me a link to a site where they can be downloaded.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm waiting too (same situation). But I think you're mistaken : we need the the drivers, but also the Win software itself, a software key, etc...
Digi has explained they couldn't make the software downloadble because of the protection system they have implemented.

Hang in there. It shouldn't be long.

Hi Paul Curtiz!

The windows drivers enables the Digi001 to function as an ordinary audio card in Win98.
I just want to install the drivers and try the Digi001 with some of my other audio software.
The PTLE software is an other matter. I may understand why PTLE is not available for download, but the Win98 drivers should be available.

I have also been told the Digi001 Win98 CD's are arriving soon. But just a single day of waiting is so unfair, when I can read about all the other users (primarily in US) who are now working with their Digi001 systems.

The CD's will arrive soon. But that is not the issue.
DigiDesign has Audiomedia III Win98 drivers available for download. Why not the Digi001 Win98 Wave drivers ????????

Are the windows drivers themselves copyprotected ? If that is the case, then they are the first windows drivers EVER with copyprotection.

1. The e-mail written in your info as registered user of forums is wrong.
2. The AM3 drivers online are not "up-to-date" they're the all revision which isn't
Support PTLE and if I'm right they're also expired (on that I'm not sure).
FYI: Digi001 work just like the am3 in it's basic use (without PTLE).
The card gives you 2 ins 2 outs as simple card.
Only under PTLE or other companies that will support it (if I'm right
Steinberg Cubase, Logic) it will give it's true features.

2) I was afraid the AMIII drivers were not up to date :-( They are 1/2 year old.
(Maybe Digi could explain why they are on the site then ???)
But if everyting else fails, could I download them and use them with my Digi001 ?
