Digi 001 Wave Drivers

I've called Customer Service and Tech Support several times, and posted to this board once already and cannot seem to get a straight answer. I don't want to use the ProTools software with my 001, so I don't see why you can't post the drivers. Am I going to have to wait for this? It seems silly.

uh...never mind. I got home last night to a package from digidesign with the software/docs inside.

ps: any word on win98 logic audio platinum interfacing? strictly through wave drivers or will there be a direct interface?

Hi Rickstone--

Logic 4.5 for W98 should be shipping in July. It supports the 001 via DirectI/O, so you can bypass the W98 Wavedriver. However, remember that you will still need to install the W98 Wavedriver on your system, since this is how DirectI/O gets installed on W98.

Once the Wavedriver is installed, Logic will be able to access DirectI/O directly for maximum performance with the 001.

I am a customer from Denmark. We have NOT received the Win98 drivers yet.
WHY on earth are they not available for download from the DigiDesign homepage ?
You have the AudioMedia III drivers available, but not the Digi001 drivers WHY ?

Please make the drivers available for download !!!!
