Default Mackie mixer

Guys, was thinking of getting either a 1402 or 1202, kinda liked the compactness of the 1202. Anyone think its worth the little extra dinero to go with the slides and the 1402???

It is not only the slides. 2 More Mike preamps as well.

Hi!

Go for the 1402!
2 more mic pres and faders! The faders were the important argument for buying this and not the 1202.

my 2 cents

Markus

go for the 1402, the faders are much easier to use than the knobs, and the extra pre-amps too!! I get a lot of use out of my 1402.

Any comments on the CFX 12? Looks cool, not worth the extra $30 or so?? Figured it might be gimicky, or degrade the sound quality...

The CFX series doesn't have the XDR pre-amps in it. It's geared more for live use (with integrated FX) than for use as a front-end to your recorder.
