Default Advice for choosing the right (budget) FOCUSRITE

Hi friends!!
I do need and advice for choosing the best model from FOCUSRITE, to fit my necessities. I wanted a processor capable of acting as a mic pre, compressor, de-esser, and some nice eq, with mic pre and line input for keyboards.
The choices I have been studying but that up to now I have not decided to buy are:
PENTA ($495/$400)
Platinum Voice master ($675/$530)
Track Master ($450/$400)
Tone factory ($400)

Besides, I have also examined the new Roland MMP2 which has two mic inputs and 96K digital out, which would be an interesting front end for PT HD for only $695.

Any comments on this?

Thanks again!!!!

Aurix, some guys told me that it is a little sharp, middle frquency hyped... however it is the opinion of someone else. maybe differnet mics, etc.
do you use it with which mic?

I have some friends using Focusrite Silver range products and they all regreted buying the silver range.

For the price range, you might be needed to check out the follows :

Grace 101, 201 mic pres,
Jomeek all-in-one series.
And to find some deessor and comp./limit. from dbx series to use with the Grace series.

If you're using PT HD, you should buy better Mic-Pre or DI and to use Waves plug-Ins for the deessor/comp./limit. stuff. When you have more budget, you can then choose some outboard gear.

In my opinion, most of the low-budget outboard sounds no better than the plug-ins. Just my 2Cs, No offense !
