Default help with vista on pro tools le

I purchased the mbox2 mini about a year ago and got it to work on a laptop with vista after a little tinkering. now i am trying it on my new laptop and its finishing the installation but after i restart its not letting me use the program...anyone can help me?

We can help you IF you post a Sandra report. Although the program not launching usually is an indication that you have Internet Explorer 8 installed. Uninstall that and see what happens.
But, still, we have zero info about your system.............

General Troubleshooting - Pro Tools LE on Windows (XP & Vista)
IE8 has been a problem for many. Your Vista needs to be 32 bit Ultimate or Business version.

its a dell studio with an intel 2 duo core processor....i have the mbox2 mini and i'm trying to run pro tools le 7.4

Problem #1, and probably the root of everything. Only one hard drive? A dedicated audio drive is IMPERATIVE. You can't partition your system drive and treat it like a separate drive, that actually makes it worse. So. this being a laptop, you need a qualified firewire controller with the Texas Instruments chipset(that Dell controller is NOT going to work.) AND you need a qualified firewire drive with the Oxford 911 chipset.
Dell laptops are notorious for not working well with Pro Tools anyway. "New" doesn't always mean better, unfortunately.
